Why Is Baccarat So Popular?

Rsm3 Baccarat — Malaysia Players' Favourite Card Game

If you've ever stepped into a land-based casino in Asia — from Genting Highlands to Macau — you'd have noticed that the baccarat tables are almost always the busiest. That's no coincidence. Baccarat draws crowds because it's easy to pick up, rounds move quickly, and its RTP ranks among the highest in the casino world. At rsm3, we bring that same baccarat table experience straight to your screen — from the comfort of home or wherever you are in Malaysia.

Many Malaysian players choose to play baccarat at rsm3 because it's fully live — there's a real dealer, neatly groomed in a studio uniform, handling physical cards in front of a camera you can see clearly. No computer simulations. No questions about fairness. What you see is exactly what's happening, just like sitting at a real casino table.

Rsm3 also displays a live Road Map — a running record of past hand results — a feature highly valued by experienced baccarat players for spotting patterns. The Big Road, Big Eye Road and Small Road are all updated after every hand. This isn't a feature reserved for high-end casinos — you can access all of it on rsm3 with bets starting from just RM 10.

Cashing out is just as easy — winnings are credited to your rsm3 account instantly and can be withdrawn via DuitNow or FPX within just 5 to 30 minutes. That's why so many Malaysian baccarat players prefer rsm3 over other platforms.

Baccarat Betting Guide

Baccarat Bet Types & Payout Rates at rsm3

Three main bets in baccarat — straightforward to learn, but worth understanding the differences before you take a seat at the rsm3 table.

Banker Bet
0.95:1 (minus 5% commission)
RTP: 98.94%

Betting on the Banker is the highest RTP bet in baccarat. The Banker has a slightly higher chance of winning than the Player. A 5% commission is charged on Banker wins as the house edge. This is the most popular bet at rsm3 baccarat tables.

Player Bet
1:1
RTP: 98.76%

A winning Player bet pays 1:1 with no commission deducted. The RTP is slightly lower than Banker but remains highly competitive. Many rsm3 baccarat players prefer the Player bet for its full payout with no deductions.

Tie Bet
8:1
RTP: 85.64%

A bet that both hands will end with the same score. The 8:1 payout is tempting, but the house edge on a Tie is exceptionally high. Experienced baccarat players at rsm3 generally avoid the Tie bet, treating it at most as a small side bet.

6 Baccarat Tips for Malaysian Players at rsm3

Not a magic strategy — just a smarter approach to help you play longer and enjoy your time at the rsm3 baccarat table.

01
Always Start with the Banker Bet

The Banker bet carries the highest RTP in baccarat at 98.94%. Even with the 5% commission on winnings, Banker statistically wins more often than Player. For new players at rsm3, this is the best place to start.

02
Avoid the Tie Bet as Your Main Wager

The Tie bet pays 8:1, which looks tempting, but the house edge on Tie is 14.36% — far higher than Banker (1.06%) or Player (1.24%). If you want to try a Tie bet, treat it as a small side bet only, not your main wager.

03
Understand the Third Card Rule

Baccarat has fixed rules for when a third card can be drawn — players don't need to make that decision themselves. If the hand total is 0–5, a third card is dealt automatically. If it's 6–7, no third card is drawn. If it's 8 or 9, it's a "natural" and no further cards are dealt.

04
Use the Road Map Wisely

The Road Map on rsm3's baccarat platform displays the history of past hands. While there's no guarantee patterns will repeat, many experienced baccarat players use the road map as a guide when making betting decisions — especially to track ongoing Banker or Player streaks.

05
Set Your Win and Loss Limits

Before sitting down at an rsm3 baccarat table, set two limits: how much you're willing to lose in a single session (loss limit), and how much profit is enough for you to walk away (win limit). Sticking to both keeps your sessions more controlled and enjoyable.

06
Try No Commission Baccarat

No Commission Baccarat at rsm3 pays a full 1:1 on Banker wins with no 5% commission — except when the Banker wins on a total of 6, where the payout is reduced to 0.5:1. For players who frequently bet on the Banker, this variant can be more profitable in the long run.

What rsm3 Baccarat Players Are Saying

Real experiences from active baccarat players on the rsm3 Malaysia platform.

★★★★★

"Baccarat Squeeze at rsm3 is truly in a class of its own. The dealer reveals the cards slowly while the camera zooms in — my heart is racing even when I'm only betting RM 50. It feels like playing at Genting but from my own bedroom. The road map is complete, and the HD streaming holds up even on a regular home WiFi. rsm3 really understands what baccarat players are looking for."

Firdaus Kamaruddin
Tampoi, Johor Bahru
★★★★★

"Lightning Baccarat at rsm3 gives me better winning potential than regular baccarat. Once I hit an x8 multiplier on a Player hand where I had RM 200 on — it paid out RM 1,600 in an instant. I deposit with Touch 'n Go and withdraw via DuitNow within 15 minutes. No other platform can match rsm3 when it comes to convenience."

Norzalifah Zainuddin
Kepala Batas, Penang
★★★★☆

"Speed Baccarat on rsm3 is a perfect fit for someone like me who loves a fast-paced game. At 27 seconds per hand, you can get through nearly 100 hands in an hour. The Big Road is right there, so it's easy to keep an eye on trends. I once spotted a Banker streak running 12 hands straight, switched up my strategy, and walked away with a solid profit. One of the best baccarat tables I've played at in Malaysia."

Play Baccarat Responsibly at rsm3

Baccarat is entertainment — enjoy it with a clear head and a budget you're comfortable with.

Set a Betting Limit Per Session

Before sitting down at an rsm3 baccarat table, set the maximum amount you're willing to wager in a single session. Once that limit is reached — whether you're up or down — walk away. That discipline is what separates smart players from those who end up with regrets.

Don't Chase Losses

Losing several hands in a row is a normal part of baccarat — it's not a sign that things are about to get worse, and it's not a reason to start doubling your bets recklessly. Step away, clear your head, and come back feeling refreshed.

Strict 18+ Age Verification

Rsm3 is an entertainment platform for adults aged 18 and above only. We conduct age verification during account registration. If you suspect any underage individual is using the platform, please contact our team immediately.

Self-Exclusion Available

If you feel that baccarat or any other casino game is starting to affect your life, finances, or relationships negatively, reach out to the rsm3 support team to activate the self-exclusion feature. We're here to help — confidentially and without judgment.

FAQ — rsm3 Baccarat

The most frequently asked questions from both new and veteran baccarat players at rsm3.

In baccarat, the score is calculated by adding up the card values and taking only the last digit as the final count. Number cards 2 through 9 are worth their face value. 10s, Jacks, Queens and Kings are worth zero (0). Aces are worth one (1). For example, if you hold a 7 and an 8, the total is 15 — giving you a baccarat score of 5 (the last digit). The highest possible score is 9. If a hand totals 8 or 9 from the first two cards, it is called a "natural" and the round ends immediately with no third card drawn.

Classic Baccarat at rsm3 follows the traditional baccarat format with a more relaxed pace per hand — the dealer takes time dealing the cards calmly, giving you plenty of time to read the road map and make your betting decision. Speed Baccarat, on the other hand, is designed for much faster rounds — each hand is completed in just 27 seconds. Cards are dealt quicker and the betting window is shorter. Both variants share the same RTP (98.94% for the Banker bet), so the choice simply comes down to your playing style — laid-back or fast-paced.

Lightning Baccarat by Evolution Gaming adds an extra layer on top of classic baccarat. Before each hand begins, the system randomly selects one to five card values to receive a Lightning Multiplier of between 2x and 8x. If you win the bet and the winning hand contains at least one card with a multiplier, your winnings are multiplied accordingly. For example, if you win RM 200 and a 6x multiplier is assigned to that hand, you receive RM 1,200. Note that the base bet in Lightning Baccarat carries a small additional charge to fund these multipliers.

In classic baccarat, when you win a Banker bet, the casino — in this case rsm3 — charges a 5% commission on that win. This means if you bet RM 100 and Banker wins, you receive RM 95 (not RM 100). The commission exists because Banker statistically has a higher probability of winning. If you'd rather avoid the commission, rsm3 offers No Commission Baccarat — where Banker wins pay the full 1:1, except when Banker wins with a total of 6, in which case the payout is reduced to 0.5:1.
